1. INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU ON WWW.BIGAGENTREWARDS.COM

We may need to collect and process the following data about you:

  • If you choose to register, then we will collect your name, email, employer, organisation number, password
  • If you engage with one of our social media posts
  • If you engage with one of our email newsletters
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.
  • We will collect information about the device you use to visit our website including your IP address (where available) and your country of residence (where available).  This helps us prevent access from some non-UK countries in order to reduce the number of cyber attacks we receive.  The data were collect does not identify any individual.

3. SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNICATION

We also use Facebook Pixels to monitor visitors our website. This enables us to retarget visitors to this page with a follow-up sales message regarding our advertising options.

We also run social media campaigns via our Facebook Page, Instagram Profile and Twitter Profile for Travel Gossip and our clients.  We do this to target users based on their previous activity on our ads (using a Facebook Custom Audience) and via other targeting means i.e. interest in travel.  If you do not wish to be served targeting adverts from Travel Gossip please contact us on [email protected] and we can prevent this from happening for you.

4. MAILING LISTS

Our website includes some links to allow you to register to emails from Travel Gossip. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to keep you in-the-loop about the latest travel news; upcoming travel events; sponsored messages for carefully selected partners; and to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied.

We will also add you to our email database if you have previously provided us with your email via a variety of ways including competition entries, roadshow registration, webinar registration or have been in email contact with Ginger Juice Ltd or Travel Gossip or Big Agent Rewards. In all such cases we assert there is ‘legitimate interest’ for us to email travel professionals with travel industry related news and events.

We use a third-party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver our Travel Gossip newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry-standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. 5. WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Personal data his data is held securely on our website. Our website is backed up to ‘the cloud’ which means that this data along with other data which relates to users but does not identify them is held in online storage.
